Leila, a Victorian nurse found herself facing allegations of misconduct in her workplace. These allegations, however, were not substantiated by facts, but rather stemmed from hearsay.

Leila contacted the NPAA and was assigned a case manager who carefully reviewed her situation and crafted a response on her behalf.

Together, they addressed the allegations with her employer, highlighting the lack of evidence supporting the claims. Through correspondence and a meeting with her employer, it was determined that no disciplinary action would be taken against Leila. Instead, her employer committed to implementing programs aimed at addressing concerns raised by staff members.

How is the NPAA so effective in defending members during workplace issues and disputes? Our experienced and professional case managers use our unique REDâ„¢ case resolution system.

Why is the NPAA different? We believe that real change in healthcare STARTS with empowering frontline nurses, not bureaucrats.
