Nurses Award 2020 - For all employees is 200% of your ordinary hourly rate for all ordinary shifts worked on a public holiday

Nurses Award 2010 - Personal Care Workers receive 250% for working Easter public Holidays

Victoria

Public Health -  Permanent Employees

• Public Holidays - Monday to Friday
  • Paid 200% for hours worked
• Public Holidays - Saturday/Sunday 
  • 250% for hours worked (Time and half above Saturday/Sunday rates)
• Casual
  • Public Holidays - Monday to Friday - Paid 250% (inclusive of casual loading)
  • Public Holiday - Saturday/Sunday - Paid 312.5% (inclusive of casual loading & weekend penalties)

Public Health 

• Shift Workers - Paid 250% for all hours worked
• Day Workers - Paid 250% for all hours worked  
  • Or by agreement, you can take a day off later and be paid:
    • 150% for first 8 hours
    • 250% for any time worked beyond 8 hours
• Casuals - paid 250% for all hours worked
